Side Note: Delivery person didn't let the company know that he had drilled through to the other side of the console, as instructed by the Renegade Furniture person on the phone. The other delivery person didn't speak English at all.

We paid quite a bit of money for this furniture (7-piece wall unit) and are very dissatisfied with the experience overall. And we cannot use it for its intended purpose because it is incomplete. In essence, we are now over two months since our purchase and still do not have what we ordered! Timeline: 14 Oct: Placed order; 17 Oct: Notified one piece was discontinued; now it's a 6-piece unit 28 Oct: Credit card charged; 28 Oct - 6 Dec: Awaiting delivery -- a total of 7 weeks and 4 days -- WELL over the 2-4 week process as listed on your web site. 6 Dec: Sent defective wall unit, mismatched pieces, delivery company negligence!!! ...and Renegade Furniture's (parent company) response was an email stating we will "reach out to you shortly." How long will that take? Until January now? In essence, we are now over two months since our purchase and still do not have what we ordered. And since late October, interest has been accruing on our credit card! Two weeks AFTER the "delivery," of the still unassembled furniture, a technician from "Fast Furniture Repair" was sent (Dec 21st) but all he did was take the same pictures we had submitted on Dec 6th and confirm what had already been noted by us on the 6th. Keep in mind, Christmas Day is in two days, New Year's Day is next week so I'm pretty sure not much will happen until after the 1st of January; now we're looking at nearly 90-days since we placed the order. The repair tech said a new TV console would have to be shipped since it appears it is the main piece that is mismatched and cut improperly. I've attached pictures so you can see all of the problems!

Unkept Promise | Coleman Furniture

Before I committed to purchasing a dining room set on September 24th from Coleman Furniture, I specifically asked "if the table was in stock and how long would it take for delivery". The sales lady indicated there were 3 tables in stock and shipment would be within 2 weeks. Fast forward to 3 weeks later and I still do not have dining room furniture. Ordinarily a delay would not be a problem, but I specifically asked about delivery so that I could plan for my house warming on October 19th. There's still 3 days to hold out hope for delivery and maybe Coleman Furniture will make good on their promise, but my gut feeling is they have my money and could careless when I receive my table and my house warming is going to be ruined cause I can't have a sit down dinner party without a table!

We bought a house in the beginning of aug 2019. Put the money aside to order everything at once. Ordered 3 bedrooms, 2 living room sets and a dinning room. Figured the wait would be worth the savings. Its October and still havent received everything! And to top it off everytime we call we get new dates and new excuses. We canceled one living room set and one bedroom set and went straight to Ashley funiture. Had the funiture in the house and set up within a week and half. The delivery date is nothing but guesses and b.s from Coleman. The only good experience with this company is the gentleman that delivered the kids bedroom set. Other than that i would not trust a word from the website and / or customer service. And hope whatever you get is what you expected because if not make sure you read the return policy before hand!!

I wouldn’t take free furniture from this company. The regret of dealing with the crap company and giving them my money is deep. WOW! STOP AND READ BBB website!!!!! It will save you months of aggravation. I usually read all reviews before I make a purchase and I did this time as well, BUT not BBB and against my better judgement I proceeded with my order with Coleman Furniture. For the life of me I cannot see how this company stays in business. I can assure you it is not from previous customer recommendations. I cannot speak of the quality of the furniture because I have yet to receive the furniture. I was told by their very rude, nasty and uninformed rep that my furniture was scheduled to be delivered one date and is now pushed back again and again and again. It has been a month since Colman has charged my credit card and my furniture hasn’t made it to its first destination. My furniture should have been in my home by now according to Coleman! You will get every run of the mill excuse "computers are down", "driver was out sick"," our policy states dates are subject to change" Complete BS! Representatives are among some of the nastiest people I have dealt with, Melissa B in particular was a real treat. They don't care about you just your $$. I have paid for a living room set for a month now and I have no clue as to when I will receive my furniture. Oh and if you receive damaged furniture or would like to cancel.....I hope your hired a lawyer to read "Their" terms and conditions because I can assure you, you are going to lose money while they profit. Like many have stated previously this is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. There are many other places to shop from., stay away from this nightmare.

11/13/19The day after I wrote my review of COLEMAN Furniture on several sights, I was contacted by a lady that worked for Coleman Furniture.She told me that IF I removed my negative reviews online, they would refund my money in full.I did as they asked and I received a full refund. This is why there were not any negative reviews. Actions speak louder then words.

If I could give them a 1/2 star I would. My initial order was on 8/5/19. They "sold" an item that was discontinued. Before I could replace the discontinued item with a chest of drawers, they processed my order and said it was shipping on 8-6-19. To purchase the chest that matched the original order would cost an additional $200.00. I then received an email on 8/8/19 stating my order shipped on that date. Which means they lied and could have added the Chest. I think they wanted to upcharge that item. Fast forward 6-7 weeks. I had to call to see when My original order would be delivered, they did not communicate at all. Their web site clearly states that delivery is 2-4 weeks. The company that they use for delivery and set up of furniture had the items for 2 weeks. They scheduled a delivery time with me on 8-17-9 at 12 pm and at 3 pm on the same day, Coleman furniture called me to state that the furniture I ordered was damaged. The Furniture technician did not show up on said day to fix furniture. From order date to possible delivery date (8-5-to 9-24). That is almost 2 months. They wanted me to accept furniture that had been repaired (so they say), they no longer carried the furniture I ordered, so I could not add on the Chest needed to complete the set. They charged my credit card from day one and I began paying interest on items I did not have. The emails and communication they send contradicts it self. They basically say they are customer orientated, but nothing they do backs that up. I was even told by the sales representative - Melissa- that I could not speak to a supervisor. The supervisor would not say anything different then what she said. Don't trust them. After all the time, energy and effort I have wasted on them, I have to pay a 15% restocking fee and I am back to searching for a bedroom set for my daughter. At first glance their reviews seem great. Do some more research and you will see how they really do business.

Worse company ever | Coleman Furniture in Detroit, Michigan

This is by FAR the worse furniture company my fiancé and I have ever dealt with. 5 weeks ago we payed for the Alenya Sectional and as of today, we still have NOT received our furniture as of today 7/3/19. We initially placed our order with this fraudulent company on May 28 2019 we were told delivery would be about 2-3 weeks. We were called from the number 847-469-6789 on June 18 at 12:42pm and were informed that the company received our furniture and wanted to set up a delivery date. The delivery date was set up for a day of the week of the 21rst. They called us and told us the wrong arm of the sectional was sent in and that they will need to rescheduled the delivery. The delivery was rescheduled to Saturday 6/22 initially at 1030am-1230pm my fiancé told them he couldn't do that time as he was at work, the company said okay and agreed to deliver the furniture at 1:00pm (the time my fiancé gets home). They called us around 1148pm on Saturday and we were told they are at our door. I explained to them that we were informed they told us 1pm. Needless to say we had to reschedule again, mind you, this was only one part of the sectional they were delivering because the other part "they had the wrong arm" The delivery was rescheduled again for Wednesday 6/26/19 however on 6/25 they called us and told us we will be charged a $75 dollar redelivery fee, after explaining everything to them, they agreed to waive the fee since it wasn't fair. They told us on 6/25 as well that they still have the wrong part and cannot deliver. After I talked to them they agreed to deliver the part they had and will deliver the other part another time. On 6/25/19, they called again and stated that the furniture did not pass inspection and that they are not able to deliver anything. I am starting to think this company is ripping us off as we paid nearly $800 for this furniture and received nothing. We continue to be told they cannot deliver and have the wrong piece. This company is unprofessional and negligent. Our service manager Ciara, seemed to not care and did not provide good customer service. When we requested to cancel this order Ciara told us in a very unprofessional tone, it will be at 15% restocking fee. After all of what we been through with this company, you would think they would provide some kind of discounted rate for the inconvenience or giving us the option to cancel. The furniture is NOT even in the warehouse. Today on 7/3/19 they called us from the number 516-407-2080, her name is Gold, and she said the replacement loveseat still hasn’t shipped. We have also tried to call Lori two times and left her a message and no answer. If you decide to purchase from this company , be aware it’s a risk. You are better off paying a little more from a reputable company with better customer service and a company that VALUES their customers. We were the ones inconvenienced. All we did was make a purchase with this company trusting that they will deliver. This company is fraudulent, negligent and very unprofessional.

I am experiencing the exact same lies. They called on delivery day said my sofa was missing parts and didn't pass inspection.

Manufacturer says doesn't ship in parts. I don't believe there is any furniture here local. They won't tell me what "part" is missing and threaten the 15% restock fee and shipping fee if I cancel. I had sold my furniture based on delivery date and had to buy a new sofa.

They are rude and obviously dishonest, they are trained well to keep their script. I am in disbelief that they are not sued.

We should gather names for a class action lawsuit. I too am dealing with Lori, she's a real sweetheart.

I had to wait 8 weeks to get the set, and then on the day of delivery I had a 4 hour window for delivery from 2-6pm. 6pm came and went and no delivery. I finally get a call from the delivery guy at about 6:30 telling me he is running late. No *** sherlock! Ya think you could have called earlier to let me know??? The delivery company doesn't arrive until about 7:30-7:45pm, almost 2 hours past my four hour window for delivery. The two guys that show up to deliver and assemble the table look sketchy as *** with neck tats and like they had a hard night of partying... who knows what they were actually doing and why they were 2 hours late. They then proceed to assemble the table and chairs in the street in front of my house, in the dark. It takes them another 2 hours to do this. So I had to sit around waiting for these *** for 8 friggin hours and had to cancel plans I had that evening because they didn't leave my house until almost 10pm! And then they damaged the table in 3 spots. I tell them before they leave to make a note of the damage and point it out to them. I watch the guy write it down. And to top it all off the 4 chairs I ordered are the completely wrong color! I ordered grey chairs and they show up green!! WTF?! I point this out to the delivery guy also and he makes a note of it. Shortly after all of this I get an email from Coleman Furniture asking me for feedback. I give them the whole story and let them know how unhappy I am with the whole ordeal and that I did not get what I paid for. Nobody contacts me... so I call them and file a complaint. I send pictures in and have to give my story to at least 3 different people as I get shuffled around from person to person, basically being given the runaround. Upon taking a closer look at the product number of the table and 4 chairs I receive I discover that the numbers DO NOT match up to what I ordered. I assume I got sent the wrong items. In the end, what do they tell me??? "Our website has a disclaimer that says the pictures are just a representation and product colors may vary... blah blah blah." The name of the chair has the word GREY in it!!! How TF do I get green chairs?! I tell them the product numbers don't match up and they tell me too bad you signed for it. WTF was I supposed to do? The guys are in my house at almost 10pm and I am ready for them to get out of my house! So I sign and tell them to note all these things on the paper I signed. Now Coleman Furniture tells me I am stuck with a damaged table, chairs that are the wrong color and they dont give a *** *** Coleman Furniture!! And their Facebook page won't allow me to tag it, to leave a review or to message them. Guess they are used to getting complaints!

I tried writing a review on their website also and they said they had to review it before publishing it. All their reviews are excellent on their site.

Im sure they wont print mine. Their company is dishonest and will not stand behind their damaged merchandise.

I had similar issues with the delivery also but never complained about that. Just want a new chair that doesnt sound lije a helicopter taking off.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered a bookshelf from Coleman Furniture about 2 months ago. Point2point company delivered the bookshelf on behalf of Coleman. When they brought it to my home, the bookshelf nearly fell due to an abnormal angle (due to having a short depth and having carpet). Next, the siding was uneven. The base was uneven and the entire thing was flimsy. The delivery crew even agreed it was not worth $435. I refused the delivery on the spot and had the Point2point call Coleman furniture and take pictures of the unsatisfactory product. Weeks later, Lori Crawn, Rachel Shapiro and Moshe Miller responded by saying it was up to standards and are trying to redeliver the product. I have spent a couple thousand dollars with this company, and this is the first issue I’ve had. Nowhere on the website does it state the bookshelf needs to be on hardwood floors. Not to mention the build quality is poor and they are trying to redeliver it. After getting American Express involved; they claim that they will only give me half a refund since they need to charge me for “redelivery and restock” fees. I will never do business with this company again and I advise everyone to be cautious on what they purchase from this company considering you will only get half your money back if they bring you a *** product.

Customer Service Nightmare | Coleman Furniture

Long story. Will try to make it as short as possible. I ordered a bedroom set on March 12th and the bed that matches this set showed that it was out of stock, so I ordered a different bed, (total cost $1,158.00). Approximately 1 week later, I looked online and the bed that matches this set was available. I ordered the matching bed that I really wanted. The furniture company charged me for ordering the bed by itself plus charged me for storage fees for the bed that I really didn't want in the first place. The new price $1380.00. I called a couple of times to see when my order would be delivered and my first delivery date was May 9th, due to my waiting on the new bed. Delivery done, unable to complete setup due to missing part. Part received approximately 1 week later with next set up date being May 24th. Delivery personnel stated another part was missing. They ordered the part, got it approximately a week later and it was the wrong part. Part had to be reordered and I received it approximately 1 week later. Set up new date which for delivery company to return which was June 14. Received a call stating they would be there between 1:30pm and 4:30pm. I got the call around 5:30PM and I never saw them unless they went to wrong house. No call or anything. I was over an hour late to work. No flexibility with the delivery company. You have to take what they give. Now here it is June 16th and I do not have a bed setup. Will I need more parts????? When will I get to sleep in a paid that is fully paid for.

Delivery and poor quaility furniture. | Coleman Furniture

I purchased several thousands of bedroom furniture from them ( paid cash) and the delivery guys did not like it because they were required to set the bedroom furniture up such as place the mattress on the bed literally. They scratched my floors in my bedroom and they would do nothing about it. He didn't have a screw driver to put the furniture together, and I provided him with one that was my deceased husbands, and then I had to make him find it. I went out to his truck and there it was. Wow. Then I called them to come put a handle back on the dresser and they never offered to help. I have called them several times and to this day no action has been put in place to fix the issue. It is probably less than a 50 fix that they will not agree to fix. I have helped many people thru the years as an Realtor after a house has closed. I did not have to either. Do not do business with these people. I will never buy from them again. I have sent many clients to them, but when they did me this way, they will do someone else the same. I will never recommend them again.
