I bought a recliner from them, I went to the Ashley store found a chair I loved then ordered from Coleman when I received the chair it looked like the one in the store but when sat in it it had a big gap I thought it was put together wrong and my feet didn't even touch the ground if I sat in this chair I would have never bought it so I went to the Ashley store and sat in the chair again it had none of those problems I sent numerous pictures and emails and the said it's not there problem so I spent over $800 for my perfect chair and now I'm stuck with it unless I want to pay return shipping and a 25% restocking fee

Free shipping... Free warranty...

great savings... right? There is a reason why you pay less when buying Ashley Furniture (and perhaps other manufacturers) from Coleman Furniture... someone suggested that Coleman sells returned and second quality items...

that is consistent with my experience. Add that to the worst return policy for damaged/poor quality items... and you will pay to ship both ways plus 15% for returned items regardless as to whether or not the item is defective or of poor quality. My experience: I found a great sofa, loveseat, and recliner set in an Ashley store.

Purchased the same at Colemanfurniture.com saving nearly $1000 considering the free delivery and warranty. Unfortunately, the leather and cushion quality was 2nd quality and the seats were hard beyond comprehension. Return fee $750. I'm guessing many will choose to keep their inferior quality furniture when considering the return fees.

They will not allow you to ship the items back items back on your own, and you must agree to their onerous return policy before they schedule to pick up the furniture. Has anyone noticed that they do business under several names..., Coleman Furniture, Renegade Furniture? Please share your experience if you received damaged, poor quality or items that appear to be someone else's returns.

So where do those returned and damaged items go? They were unable to answer that question...
