Coleman Furniture - Waste of time

Ordered a large China Hutch from Coleman Furniture. I verified it was in stock at the manufacturer before ordering. It did arrive within the 4 week time frame to the local shipping company but that's when everything went down hill. The hutch arrived at the local shipping company on July 10th in Denver. I was to receive a call to set up delivery within a few days since they deliver in my area every day, as stated by Coleman furniture. Long story short, the hutch sat at the delivery company for over a month, I called them over a dozen times and they never once answered the phone. They only called me back twice. Once saying they'll call back the next day about delivery, which they didnt. And once to schedule a delivery on August 16th stating that was the earliest delivery date. Coleman furniture was no help whatsoever. I opened a claim with my bank to get my money back. As soon as the claim was closed and i was refunded, Coleman furniture did nothing but call and email nonstop over the next week up until the delivery date. Amazing how they can call as soon as they no longer have your money. And their only concern was to get a new form of payment. There was no effort whatsoever to have it delivered earlier. Take your business elsewhere. You will save a lot of time! I ended up ordering the same piece from Goedeckers for $200 cheaper and delivery within 3 weeks.

This company is absolute GARBAGE! I ordered a bedroom set online from Coleman on 7/14. After 3 weeks of no response I called them. The girl on the phone had the typical New York attitude and told me it would be at least another month since the product was on back order from the manufacturer (Avalon). I told her to cancel the order and that they should have better customer service and if I would have known the furniture was 32 months out, I would have never ordered from them. She agreed to cancel and hung up. Three hours later I get a message from them that the order has already been "Loaded and en route to the shipping company" so I couldn't cancel and that it would be 2 more weeks. It’s funny on the same day I call to cancel, that 3 hours later the shipment is now en route. I figured I could wait 2 more weeks since it would be that long if I placed a new order with another company. Then today 8/17/18 I get a call from the same girl with the bad attitude telling me "Good news" they were able to cancel my order. She ended up hanging up on me when I caught her in several lies. I wouldn't trust this place to deliver a pizza! They are worse than used car salesman. Buyer beware, DO NOT do business with these people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coleman Furniture - Mysterious company

Ordered a *** leather chair from Coleman. Got a confirmation several days later that the chair order had been received and it would take 5 to 6 weeks to be delivered. Ten days later I get a call from a delivery company from Little Rock, Arkansas, that my chair would be delivered in several days. Still haven't heard from Coleman that my chair was being sent. When the independent delivery truck arrived the *** chair, which is made in China to my surprise, was the right model but the color on the box and the color I ordered didn't match. Both are brown but don't see why the color ordered and the color delivered aren't the same. I did notice that Coleman must have hit my credit card when ordered rather than when delivered so if you get a delay, you may be paying for something that you don't have access to. I don't think I'll order again from Coleman. Not sure who they are or if they are a legitimate business or just someone working out of their garage as a middleman.

Coleman Furniture - Disappointed and dissatisfied customer

We purchased a few items from this company, and when it arrived, what the bed looked like on the website is not what came. The bed was looking easy to break, very fragile. The wood was made from compressed wood, which wasn’t stated in the bed description. We sent the bed back without even opening the package with same people who delivered it. They said free shipping and we had to pay for the shipping of the bed, plus shipping for the mirror and they also took the $25.00 discount back, so we paid $25 dollars less the total amount for the products and they charge us the $25 when the products was returned. And we had to pay for restocking for a product that was sent back in the package it was sent, never opened and never been installed in our house. So to say they never even considered giving a discount on these charges. We made the order on the phone with one of their customer are rep. It was our first time ordering furniture from a website online so-we call the number provided. Do not want to implicate any body but we wasn’t notified in during the order about their policy. We even said that we were looking for something better from their store to be courteous about the charges. Among the items that we purchase, we bought a mattress with foundation that we kept. The manager told me that the price she gave was total for all the items, so I told her that we kept part of order she said we have to pay for the entire shipment and each item has a shipping cost. So the price she gave me, she said it was just for the bed, so the added more money for the mirror and she she said the mirror was not added. Very, very, very angry and pissed at this company.

My husband and I ordered a living room set June 14, using our Affirm account. Estimated delivery was 2-3 weeks. July 9 we called for an update because it hadn't been delivered. They said it was on backorder and wouldn't be shipped for another month. I asked if we could cancel it to buy another set, and they cancelled it without charge. However, they did not refund the money to Affirm. Now it has been 2 weeks and they have still not refunded the money. I called and left a message today and am really worried. It's getting close to time to make a payment on this, an order that we don't have.

This is a follow up to my previous post about buying two Ashley Furniture end tables from Coleman Furniture, both of which arrived without a shelf and shelf supports and bent hinges on one which prevented the door from opening. After waiting about 3 months for replacement parts (I guess shipped on a slow boat from China), the package arrived. The missing shelves were there, but only 2 of 8 shelf supports so the shelves could not be installed. But the real topper is that the wrong door hinges were sent. In the first place the hinges would not work. Second, the hinge holes were too close to the edge of the door and the screws would have cracked the door before piercing the finished opposite exterior side. They were too long. So after 3 months, nothing has really improved. The replacement parts shipped directly from Ashley. I don’t know if Coleman gave them wrong information about the model number or if Ashley made a mistake. Coleman had correct information from me and I was their customer. To me the burden is on them to ensure the correct parts are sent and in a timely manner. Surely this is not the first time parts have been missing.

READ BEFORE YOU BUY ANYTHING! I ordered my furniture May 11th, it is June 29th and still they have no idea when my furniture will make it here. For over a week and a half (poss more) they have been telling me that my product has been shipped from the manufacturer and is in route to Columbus OH, once it arrives somewhere in Columbus they will inspect it and send for delivery to my house. If I cancel this order which was $1049.00 plus shipping they will keep 15%. Miss Amy Blackman (who claims to be customer service supervisor) came to the phone and said that my purchase is close and will be in Columbus tonight or Monday but then there is the holiday so will be probably delivered mid July. She then said that if i have any further issues I can WRITE A LETTER TO THE CEO and hung up on me!

on may 14th I ordered two occasional chairs. happily received them three days later. Unhappily, there were no legs or hardware included in either box. Three calls to the company have netted no parts. Today I was told that it was a carrier issue and that they could not deliver because they couldn't find my address . (lie) I was also told that they were going to coincidentally call me today to verify said address. (wonder how they found it for the chairs) Was told that the parts would ship "soon" (no proposed ship date given) Sure wish I had read the reviews before ordering. Cheaper price and free shipping isn't always best. NEVER AGAIN!

Dear customers, Please read what I am going through at the moment with Coleman furniture and their manager Cherice Levy. I spent $2300 on a table and chairs. Although I did ask for faster delivery than 3-4 weeks, when the table was delivered almost 3 weeks later, we were told that there was missing hardware. So the table was left in my house, incomplete, until someone could come with the missing hardware to assemble it. I kept calling and was told the missing hardware would arrive by 6/22, which was another three weeks later. When I asked for a refund because of the poor service and missing parts for the table, I was disrespectfully reminded of the 15% restocking fee and full delivery fee that I would be responsible for. Just to note, I made this purchase on May 8th, 2018. Today is June 8th, and I have part of a table, no chairs and hardware to arrive by 6/22. And now Coleman wants me to pay for the restocking fee and delivery fee. Customers please beware. They have the poorest customer service and their manager has no etiquette to deal with customers, even when they are in the wrong. This is such a negative experience. All I want to do is buy another table and chairs, but getting Coleman to pick up their table and refund me is a nightmare. I already called my lawyer. This is such a rip off and plain fraudulent. Very disappointed Customer.
