I bought a set of Ashley living room furniture from Coleman last summer. I had done a lot of research prior to purchasing, and Coleman appeared to have what I wanted for the best price. They also had an additional warranty, which I purchased. After all, furniture is a big expenditure, and I wanted to make sure I was covered. It took almost a month to get my furniture, and the delivery date was not ideal as I was due to leave town the same day, but after they assured me I would be the first delivery of the day, I agreed to stay a little later and have them deliver that day rather than possibly wait another month. I had been under the impression that “first delivery of the day” was going to be around 7 or 8am. They didn’t get there until after 10, and when they did, my furniture was in pieces. They had to take another hour to put it together in my living room. Normally I would be more understanding of something like that, but again, I was supposed to be leaving town and driving 10 hours. So for the delivery people to be 2-3 hours late (without calling), and then take ANOTHER hour of my time for something that should have already been done was rather irritating. The guys were nice, but still! Fast forward a couple months. My armchair already has a crack in the decorative wood panel on the front, even though it’s the least used piece of furniture in the set. Also, my sleeper sofa is badly sagging on one side. Upon further inspection, it’s because the piece of OSB (OSB, y’all...not even MDF, let alone solid wood) that held the sleeper frame onto the sofa frame is shattered, making the bed crooked, and the seats sag. It also made the frame twist, which made the wood paneling come loose on the opposite side. Disappointing to say the least, for furniture that’s not even a year old. Oh, but wait! I have a warranty! So I got in contact with the company, who requested pictures of the damage. I obliged, and even labeled them for clarity. And I waited for their response, being relieved that I’d had the foresight to get the warranty in the first place, as even the casual observer can see that this is likely to be a rather pricey repair. Therefore, it goes without saying that I was completely shocked when they told me they would give me $100. For the entire repair. Seriously? But I know I’m dealing with an insurance company, and never to accept the first offer, especially if it’s obviously low-ball. So I emailed back and told them that I didn’t think that was going to be near enough, and that I would expect them to up that offer if I got a lot of estimates that were substantially above that. They asked for those estimates, so I did some research, and got estimates from three different companies, the cheapest of which was $450. The guy was even nice enough to email me an invoice so I could show Coleman that I wasn’t just blowing smoke. I sent all of this over to them. The response? Well, read for yourself: “Hi Myristica, The manufacture has advised the issues you have reported can be repaired by a local furniture technician. The allotment amount should cover the cost of the repair on both items. As a courtesy, we can approve up to to $200.00 to have the items brought back to manufacture standards. Please see below for a technician service in your area. Furniture Solutions Network (Link removed) Have a good day!” Yeah, a good day it’s anything but. I’m not done fighting this battle, and the outcome may end up being marginally acceptable, at least in regards to the condition of my furniture and what I end up paying for it. If so, I will update my review. But this run-around and refusal to make this right WITHOUT a fight has lost them a customer. And considering the actual quality of this furniture, they’ve lost Ashley a customer as well. These problems aren’t the only ones, they are just the only ones I was trying to actually get the company to repair. The underside of the ottoman was all ripped up, which I discovered when I tilted it to put felt on the feet to protect my floor. The love seat is also sagging way more than it should at less than 1 year old. So I definitely would recommend you save yourself both money and headache, and shop elsewhere. They are only too happy to take your money, but once they have it, you cease to matter to them at all.

So basically you are pissed because they found someone who will fix it for less money than you? And even provided you with a link for that company? Sounds like you were looking to make a buck.

This is my horror story - true, absurd, and still unresolved 106+ days after the order, as of January 9th. It all started when I ordered a bedroom set and a bookcase on 9/25. Then I decided to order a living room set, but I found the same set cheaper at Orlando Furniture. Now although Coleman's says they have a price guarantee, they refused to honor the price match saying it would cut too close to their profit margin so they were going to pass on the sale to me. I already had credit approved for Coleman, so despite the bitter taste of feeling cheated, I went ahead with the order which was only about $100 more than Orlando Furniture. Plus, the sales person claimed "white glove treatment." Mind you also, my purchase was over $1,000. So if their profit margin is that thin, the company should be worried. It is now 11/16, I still do not have all my furniture - missing a dresser and I have a bed with no hardware, and the company could seem to care less. Call and ask to speak to a manager like "Cierra" and you'll get the apathetic cold shoulder with vague promises the company will look into it. So why have I not received all my furniture? 1. Shipping company may get an incorrect phone number for you, or thus was the claim. Yet the shipping company clearly called me with someone else's delivery named "Melissa." 2. Shipping company may get the wrong email address for you. Why? I don't know. I got the bill, how could they muck this up? 3. My wife went into labor, I had to reschedule one time. This one was on me. 4. One delivery was incomplete. Got a bedroom set that was missing a dresser that no one can seem to find and a bed missing hardware. So it is back to sleeping on the futon while they try to find the parts to my bed. In fact, they sent me an email asking for a picture of the problem... demonstrating a complete lack of empathy. I took a picture of the empty space where my dresser would be standing and a picture of my unassembled bed. Unfortunately, no updates from Coleman on when I will get my remaining items. The "white glove" treatment is more like someone in some latex gloves slapping you with a wet fish over and over again. Because yeah, all of the above may not even be the craziest part of this never ending debacle. One 11/13 when the delivery company was delivering my living room set, the called me at about 7:20pm and asked if they could make the delivery at 9:30pm. It was a bit late, but I said sure. It wasn't until, and I kids you not, 11:51pm after I had fallen asleep they called and said they were running late and they wanted to make the delivery around 1am. I told them no. They said okay and the delivery would be at 8am tomorrow. Call after call from me to them with no answer the next day for the 8am delivery. Finally around 11am I went to work, then they called, apologized saying they over slept and was at my house... Oh, and good luck returning something you don't like. That bookcase I bought crumbled before the first book even hit it. They wouldn't take it back. Bought a piece of Sauder half the price from Amazon, still standing today full of books. Never, ever, buy from this company. I wish I was making this story up. Crazy. Unbelievable. You'd think after so many issues The company would offer some sort of rebate, money back, something. All I get is nothing and no updates on the still remaining missing pieces! The furniture is great besides the bookcase, the service is the worst I ever had in my entire life! Edit: As of December 4th, still no update on the dresser. Had another false delivery for which the company again apologized (the shipping company came to my house, when I called and asked why they said it was a mistake and they didn't have anything to deliver...). Coleman said they would give me a $50 refund on my order which is about 3% of the total order... while I still wait for the pieces of my bed to arrive, I had to go get a temporary boxspring to put the mattress on. The nightmare order continues without end. Edit: It is now January 9th, I recently received the missing dresser, but it was badly damaged. The company did offer some financial compensation for this. However, the delivery company came to set up the bed, and they did not have the instructions! So they left, wasting more of my time. A second attempt was made to set up the bed. This time they had the instructions, but the company discovered there are more missing pieces. So 3+ months, still no bed to sleep in. The nightmare just won't end with this company. I cannot stress enough how bad of an experience this is and overall.

Warranty claims does not hold up to promise.- rip off. | Coleman Furniture review

I purchased a sofa from Coleman 4 years ago and within 2 years a spring had begun to peek through the bottom but didn't bother us until recently. I wanted to file a warranty claim (5-year manufacturer warranty for springs) and was told to take a photo of the sticker on the inside of the sofa with the serial number. Well, the tag with the number had worn and was not legible. So because of that, they said I cannot file a warranty claim even though I have the email showing I purchased the sofa with them 4 years ago.

Side Note: Delivery person didn't let the company know that he had drilled through to the other side of the console, as instructed by the Renegade Furniture person on the phone. The other delivery person didn't speak English at all.

We paid quite a bit of money for this furniture (7-piece wall unit) and are very dissatisfied with the experience overall. And we cannot use it for its intended purpose because it is incomplete. In essence, we are now over two months since our purchase and still do not have what we ordered! Timeline: 14 Oct: Placed order; 17 Oct: Notified one piece was discontinued; now it's a 6-piece unit 28 Oct: Credit card charged; 28 Oct - 6 Dec: Awaiting delivery -- a total of 7 weeks and 4 days -- WELL over the 2-4 week process as listed on your web site. 6 Dec: Sent defective wall unit, mismatched pieces, delivery company negligence!!! ...and Renegade Furniture's (parent company) response was an email stating we will "reach out to you shortly." How long will that take? Until January now? In essence, we are now over two months since our purchase and still do not have what we ordered. And since late October, interest has been accruing on our credit card! Two weeks AFTER the "delivery," of the still unassembled furniture, a technician from "Fast Furniture Repair" was sent (Dec 21st) but all he did was take the same pictures we had submitted on Dec 6th and confirm what had already been noted by us on the 6th. Keep in mind, Christmas Day is in two days, New Year's Day is next week so I'm pretty sure not much will happen until after the 1st of January; now we're looking at nearly 90-days since we placed the order. The repair tech said a new TV console would have to be shipped since it appears it is the main piece that is mismatched and cut improperly. I've attached pictures so you can see all of the problems!

Unkept Promise | Coleman Furniture review

Before I committed to purchasing a dining room set on September 24th from Coleman Furniture, I specifically asked "if the table was in stock and how long would it take for delivery". The sales lady indicated there were 3 tables in stock and shipment would be within 2 weeks. Fast forward to 3 weeks later and I still do not have dining room furniture. Ordinarily a delay would not be a problem, but I specifically asked about delivery so that I could plan for my house warming on October 19th. There's still 3 days to hold out hope for delivery and maybe Coleman Furniture will make good on their promise, but my gut feeling is they have my money and could careless when I receive my table and my house warming is going to be ruined cause I can't have a sit down dinner party without a table!

We bought a house in the beginning of aug 2019. Put the money aside to order everything at once. Ordered 3 bedrooms, 2 living room sets and a dinning room. Figured the wait would be worth the savings. Its October and still havent received everything! And to top it off everytime we call we get new dates and new excuses. We canceled one living room set and one bedroom set and went straight to Ashley funiture. Had the funiture in the house and set up within a week and half. The delivery date is nothing but guesses and b.s from Coleman. The only good experience with this company is the gentleman that delivered the kids bedroom set. Other than that i would not trust a word from the website and / or customer service. And hope whatever you get is what you expected because if not make sure you read the return policy before hand!!

ago Shop at goodwill first I thought at first this was going to be a great purchase I was excited, I ordered on 3 July 2019 the site says " quick ship" is also guarantees an entertainment center will be delivered in 1-2 weeks on their Twitter site. So ordered the gabrielle bedroom set.. plus and extra bed and nightstand . I asked if they serviced military installation and they replied yes. A week later I called and asked about the quick ship as my email stated 6 weeks.. they stated it was only for small items , and the tag was in error and they forgive me 15$ off my next purchase. Aug 28th they charged my credit card 2k and still no furniture. I inquired about the delay. I spoken with connie, chaniv , Cierra among other from the company . Forrest from blue truck delivery called to set up delivery in early September.. 2 days later I received a call say their " truck " was broken " and they had to reschedule. I assume they have only 1 truck. I again called.. mid September Forrest set up a delivery, 2 drivers show up they couldn't get on post BECAUSE they could pass the back ground check.. lol.. again I call Coleman. I recieved an email saying I would get 100$ off and my delivery would be a priority. 2 weeks later Forrest called to deliver on a Thursday.... he has to reschedule for a Friday because his employees could once again NOT pass the background check to get on post.. lol.. finally on September 20 , a crew can actually get on post.. but it gets worse. The foot board to one bed is destroyed .. and the other is damaged.. the *** on one nightstand is stripped. You cant leave a review on the Coleman site.. they delete them.. so I leave them here.. I have photos.. text and emails.. ms Cierra called and asked me to change me review because they would have furniture here in a week... if that's possible.. why has it taken a week? They fluff reviews and then a bad review is buried by fake reviews.... .. the furniture is Ashley that has flaws that doesn't meet Ashley standards.. that has minor flaws.. for instance my headboard has a gap. On the right side.. that couldn't be sold .. I'm not sure if Ashley would allow their tags left on.. etc.. also.. when you correspondent with this company... their signature block says renegade NOT Coleman... so it all seems suspicious.... you have to literally stop payment to accomplish anything.. if you want a nightmare and wait 3 to 6 months to get something choose this company.. if you want criminals that cant pass a simple background check in your home.. choose this company.. if you want returns , and warranty to be a nightmare choose this company... if you want a hassle free purchase for relatively the same price most Ashley stores.. which is the same furniture HAVE the same exact pricing without the nightmare on all the major holidays... update 9PM.. when you complain.. about their substandard customer service they try and threaten you with 15% restocking fees and shipping fees.. look at Coleman furniture Twitter 5 months to get a couch , 7 months for a desk.. remember " Fair credit protection act"... use any company but this... dont allow this company to bully you
